ROAR Fingerprint Powders
ROAR Particles Ltd offers the following for advanced forensics
Specially formulated to develop latent marks on both non porous (e.g. glass, ceramics,) and semi porous surfaces (e.g. plastics, non ferrous metals,) up to twenty-eight days after deposition. The powders provide 30% enhanced performance over existing powders.
We can also further interrogate prints developed with our powders for:
- Identification of endogenous and exogenous metabolites within the structure of fingerprints e.g. prescribed drugs (anti-epileptics, anti-depressives, anti-psychotics, antibiotics etc)
- Detection and identification of biomarkers that will enable a donor’s gender, age and ethnicity to be established.
- Skin cell harvesting from latent print deposits which would be able to detect and record DNA profiles.
